With a passion for styling and show work the thrill of creating a collection, styling at a busy London Fashion week or being on set for a shoot gives me the advantage to instil these new trends into my every day clientele and bookings.
Career blurb
Having completed my hairdressing apprenticeship at Toni&Guys over 17 years ago, I advanced and studied the ‘Art directors’ program, this quickly took me down the creative route of fashion and editorial work within the industry. Overall this taught me the art of hair and how to push the boundaries of my own creative abilities.
I have worked for various worldwide brands such as L’oreal, Cloud 9 and Hot tools to name a few, being a creative member of their Art teams. I produced collections, partook in many shows/stage work and joined various teams at London Fashion week. Alongside this I regularly educated in Europe selling out educational seminars for a brand I am still aligned with, Oway international.
I went on to complete my Certificate in Education back in 2011, this enabled me to progress to head of educational teams both academically and creatively for a large hairdressing group. Here I lead the team to win ‘best hairdressing education establishment’ twice at the Hairdressing business awards down in London.
Since riding solo in 2019 I have been finalised two years running for ‘Hair stylist of the year’ by The Hair and Beauty awards 2021 & 2022. My week is split between educating for students at Leeds University Centre on the Fashion, TV and Film degree, attending to clients old and new and educating locally or nationally to other hair stylist as an ambassador for Oway International, a biodynamic and eco friendly world wide brand.
Hair services
Colouring, cutting, extensions and styling. Services offered within a home salon or freelance. Depending on the service requirement I can accommodate to what suits you best. Additional costs for travel are added. Travelling to style hair for events etc are also welcomed.
Education
One to one, online or ad hoc, I hold a degree in teaching and have extensive experience in designing programs to suit anyone from beginners to advanced, either in person or online.

Bridal
Bridal styling is my forte, I have worked with a variety of make up creatives across the UK and internationally so can also recommend for a make up artist if needs be. Wedding bookings can be made on the Bridal page.
Editorial
I currently teach on the Fashion, Theatre and Media degree in Leeds at the University centre sharing my experiences of the industry. Keeping current means no matter the brief/client you’ll receive current and up to date hair styling services. Experience with wigs/postiche too.

Hair extensions
We offer all extension services. We use a range of Russian, European and Indian hair. This means there is a price to suit all.
Nano, micro, tape in and weave hair extensions are available. A consultation is required before all services to determine best method and amount needed. A quotation will also be given and a deposit taken.

The original bond builder that repairs damaged hair caused by chemical, thermal and mechanical damage. I am fully qualified and stock all Olaplex products. Every colour service is used with Olaplex.
FAQs
Can you come to me?
I certainly can as long as my diary allows. For complicated colour services I will more than likely book you in at the home salon.
What products do you use?
I use a mixture of professional products but mainly work with eco friendly and vegan based manufacturers. I do offer eco options for colours. Frequently used brands are Schwarzkopf, Redken and Loreal professional.
Where are you based ?
I am based at my home salon in Huddersfield West Yorkshire with a styling station and wash facilities. I also have access to train lines and a vehicle so I can travel to all locations if required to do so.
How can I book in?

How much is it going to be?
It all depends on a number of things. How much hair you have, what products I require, travel, tax, rent costs and timing. This is why each services is priced individually.
Is my deposit additional or taken off of the whole payment?
A deposit is taken for safety purposes and to secure the booking. The deposit will be 20% or 50% of the total payment. This will be requested at the time of securing the booking.
